New Market.

I passed by the market while taking my aunt out yesterday,there were lots of stalls and looked quite busy and interesting.Lots of different stalls,fruit and veg,handbags,gifts all kinds of things.I will get the bus there next week as I think parking may be difficult near the High St.

I went yesterday and there is very good cheese and meat on sale,amongst other things and a good atmosphere.

Hi again. If you are talking about the French market, I think it ends today. Last night we bought some lovely cheeses and delicious tartiflette (gorgeous potatoes/bacon/cheese/onion thing) and listened to some great bands. Also the fruit and veg man stayed until late so we bought our produce there instead of going to the supermarket. Thanks for staying late in the freezing cold, Marcel!There's more music this evening, but I think the next market isn't on until the spring, except for the fruit and veg, which will (hopefully) be a regular thing.

Hi Theresa. Are you talking about the French market in the high street/market square? There's music there this evening too, but I'm struggling to find the schedule anywhere on this website.
