Parking in high street in front of PO - where's the P&D machine?

I had to drive to the PO with some large parcels and was baffled by the lack of P&D machine, despite the signs saying 'Pay here' and 'Pay at machine' with an arrow pointing at nothing. I suspect the absence of a machine does not mean that parking is free. :-)

When I looked just before Christmas I couldn't see a machine anywhere. Decided to take a chance as there are never any queues in the PO. Are there?

Unless it has been moved there is a machine just past the post office. There is also one on the opposite side of the road and one down the side street before Nat West

To clarify, I mean the sub-PO by the Nat West.
