Anyone know what was going on in the high street around 5pm?

There were many fire trucks just west of Ealing Road and the road was closed up to Half Acre. There was a smell in the air (like burning hair) around the same time, but I don't know if this was related.

No, they've been boarded up for a while now I think.

I passed there a bit earlier than 5. There was a fireman going up three storeys on a ladder, but at that time the road wasn't blocked off and no sign of smoke, I couldn't quite figure it out.
