Green Party Land Value Tax

'Dave Wetzel explained that Land Tax is on the "location value" of a piece of land, not on the buildings on the land.'.... which means that if this extra tax if ever realised everyone who still has a garden will build a block of flats on it.  A better way of raising funds is to instigate a tax on stupidity - then Mr Wetzel and his Green party eco-idiots would go live somewhere else as tax exiles.

I doubt that - Dave has a red streak running through him like a stick of rock. He's been banging on about land tax for as long as I can remember.

So is Dave Wetzel now a Green Party member - is this the same Dave Wetzel who was a member of the Labour party for many years ?
