RBS CEO Stephen Hester Employed by Gordon Brown in 2008 !
I am sick to death of hearing about this chap also the inference that our Government should intervene on his Contract it is not possible and would have terrible ramifications .Stephen Hester was asked to take on the job of CEO by Gordon Brown who had already used 46 BILLION POUNDS of our money to bail out RBS, his Contract was signed in 2008 and although we owned 87% of RBS through Gordon Brown, his contract was as a Private Worker not a Public Sector Worker. No matter what is wished for you cannot have government stipulating how much Directors of Companies earn. There are far more important events in Europe going on that our media should be making us aware of we continually get doom and gloom about our economy and yet were we told by the BBC or SKY that Espana Airlines have ceased working this happened yesterday, people had booked in, their luggage processed and then all at once the Espana Staff walked out of the airport apparently Qatar who were to take over the airline had called off the deal. The strikes in Italy and Portugal were we told NO we were not and will not, what is the big secret are we supposed to think that the Euro and Europe is a better deal for us, the BBC are Worldwide so let's get some Worldwide News, will they tell us that Spain has over 5 Million People unemployed it is likewise all over Europe except for Germany who are doing very well, good for them.
