Hello all.I have been advised by our Head of Traffic that unfortunately London Road is now unlikely to reopen until Wednesday 15th February due to the current very cold weather. I'm told that concrete is not normally laid under freezing conditions as this gives rise to curing problems and consequent strength and stability problems. As a result, the current plan is that Thames Water will pour the concrete on Monday when the temperature is forecast to rise and then, after the concrete has cured and surfacing laid, the road will reopen on Wednesday. Please be aware that this current programme may be affected by changes in the forecast weather.Hope that helps.Matt
