Thames water leaks website
A TV journalist friend was ranting over dinner last night on how he had spent nearly two days looking for evidence of current water leaks as listed by the online Thames water Leaks map.He visited over 30 sites in North and West London and all were repaired.except one right on his doorstep in Brentford!I suppose in a way, it's a good thing but the reality is the website just wasn't properly updated. What is questionable given the latest drought excuse to hype up water rates is why TW and other water companies have been allowed to sell huge lumps of land for development that were earmarked as reserve reserviors by the ministry of works in the 1940's should the British Population exceed 50million. As we are heading for 75million before there is any chance of completion of new sites, these decisions based once again on gain and greed are going to cost us dear.
