Queens Barge on the Thames tomorrow

Just contacted by a BBC Breakfast reporter trying to track down the apparent road closures around Isleworth tomorrow as the new Queens Barge is to be brought up the Thames to Isleworth.As this was a hurried conversation and it was not clarified if by road or water, maybe watch BBC Breakfast in the morning for details.

So we already have Linkfield Road and Church Street closed off in Isleworth due to road works.Avoid area for drivers I think !

6:41am on BBC Breakfast showed the barge on a trailer beside the Thames (near to The London Apprentice) waiting to be lifted into the water at 13:00 today before a test row to Richmond.

This could be the Boriana - it is launching from the London Apprentice at one, or so I was informed last weekend.Built by Mark Edwards who also built the wooden submarine featured by the BBC a while back.I think I'll pedal down and check it out.
