Slippery suckers!

Following in true forum form, I bet you thought this was going to be another one of those threads   …   !?Quite simply my hanging baskets and pot plants are being devoured overnight, they are particular to petunias, and there are slimy trails everywhere.Anyone recommend a safe (for cats and foxes and environment) measure that they use to clear the suckers?

Without a doubt beer traps are the most successful way of getting rid of these disgusting things - with baskets I imagine the best way is to have them as near as possible on the ground or window sill, they'll probably be attracted by the smell and die happy too!
