Friends of ours in Perth do the same as it's far too hot in December for a big Christmas dinner.

In OZ we have Christmas in July. I was in Canberra recently. Temp dropped to -6c and we went into a mock English country pub. They had a Christmas tree up with decorations all round the pub. They also had a log fire burning. I had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

No far too early for me - yet I have to say that I haven't received one catalogue, strange, they normally start arriving in June! Already have my Christmas cards though. Can we now ban the 'C' word until at least the middle of November?
