Pathetic jealousy
Reading today in the paper that the Union Cyclists Internationale - the cycling 'governing body' are trying to fix the rules in competition to stop Team GB from winning as many medals as they are. They'd already tried this since Bejing, by changing some of their archaic rules and have come mighty unstuck, but in the event denied Chris Hoy the chance to defend his individual sprint title. As it happens the wheels came off their silly plan and Jason Kenny won! There are suspicions that before the Rio games the UCI will try fixing something else, the feeling is strong that all this is just a ploy to stop Britan dominating the sport. All I can say is that if you have to fix things to try and make them go your way then the winning isn't worth it.
