Lamentable state of Ealing Road pavements

Has anyone else noticed the lamentable states of the pavement on Ealing Road? Walk from the junction with the A4 and you will notice steep cambers, uneven tarmac and numerous broken paving slabs - that is, until you get to about 10 paces past the 'Welcome to Ealing' borough boundary sign.  It is at this point that you notice new paving, no trip hazards or broken paving slabs, and you even see a street cleaner at work.  Why is is that Hounslow Council are unable to provide the same high standard of provision for its residents? Surely, we are not lesser beings than those in Ealing?Has anyone complained to Hounslow Council - had any response?

It's been poor ever since the water mains replacements a few years ago.The Council simply failed big time in enforcing quality repairs and never factor in post earthworks subsidence.The pavement repairs should be monitored and liability to put things back to the correct quality warrantied for 5 years.The utilities should pay an upfront repair cost held by the authority for such defects which is not returnable until that time has passed as they never return to put anything right after a few weeks.
