5 Star Cars

Did anyone watch Watch dog last Night. The " Rouge Traders" part was about 5 Star Cars in Brentford. They have been selling dodgy cars, not giving refunds or paperwork to cars and have thousands in County Court Judgments. The Owner was very Rude to Matt and his team last night and the swearing was terrible. I hope No one buys any cars from these Rouges. I am surprised the Police have not made arrests and shut them Down.

Seems like the whole business of car trading is tarnished by the cowboys.  I used to work near to a car sales place and had my eye on a car which disappeared one day and returned after the weekend with around a £1000 miles extra on the clock, which disappeared along with another few hundred miles or so a few days later!We have just received a new V5C from the DVLA (pink) with a note to say to destroy the old blue one as some scally/organised gang has stolen bundles of blank blue forms so they are having to replace them all.

Trading Standards would be the ones to deal with these cowboys rather than the Police I would think. However, I think T.S. are like everyone else in a local authority and thinner on the ground than they once were. If one of their victims was to report them then action might follow.
