Scout Bazaar - Saturday 17th November - Isleworth & Syon School TW7 5LJ - 1.45pm
The Autumn bazaar for 1st Osterley Scouts is here again, chaps! This is the 62nd annual bazaar held by the local group and is to be held at Isleworth & Syon School Ridgeway Road Isleworth TW7 5LJ at 1.45pm on Saturday 17th November 2012.Plenty of parking and easy access from the A4 to Ridgeway Road.A group of volunteers have been out collecting donations and sorting them ready for sale. Everyone will be donating their time as volunteers and there will be many people from the local community helping out with the collecting, sorting, at the bazaar and afterwards to tidy up. You will probably recognise many friends and neighbours helping out or bagging bargains, on the day.Collected items includeJewellery; books; bric a brac; childrens, mens and ladies jumble; hats; bags and belts; shoes; household goods; small electrical items; white elephant items; toys; fancy goods; furniture (small items only). There is also a raffle and a tombola stall.Should you have any donations these can still be dropped off at the school, early on the day of the bazaar, make sure you find a leader to agree to this and to tell you where items should go.1st Osterley are a local successful Scout Group, offering exciting activities based on the scout programme. The HQ is in the alley next to 63 Osterley Road, close to St Mary's Church. They get no central funding, and depend on income from termly subscriptions and fund raising events such as this bazaar.
