From memory you should check whether you can get cover from the card issuer, because the transaction was less than £100, I believe. If you have real trouble (i.e. no other agency will help you, you could write by registered post saying that your missive is the last, and if they don't cough up in 21 days then proceedings will be issued. You then download and complete a claim form from the Courts service and send the supplier a final saying proceedings will be issued in accordance with the enclosed document. - unless you get your money. You then hope they are too stupid to work out that in truth the claim has not been issued. It just looks threatenly real, which of course it is. If still no satisfaction then issue the claim.I never looked into issuing proceedings for small claims using the internet but it can be done. In which case they really do get a live claim. If they don't pay you send in the Court Bailiffs if you get judgement. But that is another fee. However who fancies Court bailiffs wandering around their offices cherry picking computers and furniture etc to settle the bill?Make absolutely sure that each and every move by you is supported in written evidence.Sadly they don't pay for the gin and tonic you need to steady your nerves!
