Kew Village Market - Sunday 3rd March
We’re looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 3rd March for a very special Kew Village Market. As well as a spread of 34 stalls of foodie treats and handmade crafts, we’ll be giving away money – to local good causes. All the profits made by the Kew Village Market Committee are donated to charity, and this month we’ve a record amount to give away: £3,030 will be shared between five deserving causes. Since the market started we’ve given away £8,530 – and as its success grows month by month there’ll be more where that came from. We’re delighted to say that the Mayor of Richmond, Rita Palmer, will be joining us to hand over the cheques at midday. And to help the celebrations go with a swing there’ll be live music – Oddfellas, who sing and play everything from banjo to bass and mandolin to spoons, will be coming to the aid of the party. But before you set out, don’t forget to visit our website (www.kewvillagemarket.org) to plan your shopping list – find out which stalls will be at the market here. Kew Jam fans will want to know that the Preserve of the Month will be Fig and Ginger. Thank you to our loyal customers and stallholders – you’ve made the market the success it is – and see you on Sunday! As always the Market takes place in front of Kew Gardens station between 10am and 2pm this Sunday, 3rd March.
