A Temporary View and a Butterfly Garden....
For I imagine just a few days Bellway who are building a block of flats on the river(to the left of John's Boatyard and the Notting Hill Home Ownership block) have removed their hoardings using see through temp metal barriers. From the High Street and the alley adjacent to the Watermans Office block you can view areas of the river/boatyard/the Notting Hill block for a short period of time...until the hoardings go back again.....Close by to the west, on the piece of riverside land formerly gated off with a sign saying Restaurant site for sale a Butterfly garden has been created, with landscaping, planting, signage and seating. All by 'Shoots and Leaves' not sure who funded it. Well worth a visit!
