MPL Corner of Commerce Road(a diisgrace)

When are the Council going to insist that this company clear the front of their building it looks like a building site of old, if our gardens werw left in such a state we would be taken to task. Visitors from abroad use the hotel opposite what kind of impression does that leave them. Do we not count this die of the bridge.C'mon Councillors do your job.

David,Many thanks for your suggestion however I would have thought that Theo who is an excellent councillor and our representative would have already done this evidently not. This eyesaw has been like this for months now and the awful fence looks worse than a prison, if our front garden looked like this, a letter or council worker would have come by and taken us to task, MPL is a lucrative business that can well afford the expense to tidy up. It looks no better than a fly tip!

Sorry Dawn for not having picked up on this earlier.I have spoken to Paul Toor who owns MP Brentford Ltd at Bridge House, Commerce Road, he apologises for the current state of the front of the building and explained that it looks like a building site because it is one.  The building is undergoing a complete refurb inside and out and he's hoping to complete the fencing v soon and will then paint the drab grey fence and get on with clearing the broken bricks etc and resurface the front.  He explained that he has only been on this site for the last couple of months, only got planning permission for the works last month and is trying to do all the work to the building while running a business from it.Mr Toor has been in business and committed to Brentford for 25 years so he is keen to do well by the area, he hopes that you'll accept his apologies while he completes the work.  Meanwhile I will speak to the Council about removing the traffic barriers and other grot that have been dumped in the area.T
