Signs up about this, saying it starts on Good Friday for three weeks. So, do they mean north of the A4 roundabout? And will the whole road be closed or only northbound?

I seem to recall that the whole section from The Borough boundary was supposed to be fully resurfaced some 15 months ago.Presumably these peristant leaks and sub surface problems are now ironed out.I'm sure half the trouble has been caused by the very poor road surfaced causing heavy vehicles to bounce about too much causing shock waves. If the bus is anything to go by it is a struggle to keep a footing if standing and rather uncomfortable if seated. It's a shame the rest of it could not have been resurfaced at the same time as the closure.

Woohoo! Ealing Road is open again!

Still closed but looks as if work is finished and they are just waiting for the surface to 'settle', if that's what it does. I'd guess (without prejudice) that it'll be open tomorrow

Heading for the Waterman's this aft. Now it's a toss up whether I have to allow extra time or not.
The big holes are all tarmaced over so looks like just tidying up to do. Fingers crossed it will be finished today.

That sounds hopeful, Reg. Thanks.

My journey on the 65 to Ealing has been hateful every morning during this disruption.Parking should have been limited on Windmill Road, as with twice as many buses (E2 + 65) and the diverted traffic, the whole road turns to gridlock during the rush-hour.Please let this be over as planned after the weekend!

I do hope these road works continue for a bit longer. I'm really enjoying watching the road rage outside my house every morning and evening! Whoever is in charge of managing the traffic in relation to these works has done an excellent job.

The holes are mostl filled in and just need the top coat of tarmac so I reckon this will be finished by the weekend.

Any sign that these are going to be completed in the projected three weeks, which should be this Friday?

Maybe they should be working 24/7 to get the work done quickly as they're disrupting a major junction.

In this weeks local Chronicle public notices there is a Transport for London entry stating that vehicles will be banned from entering or exiting the northern arm of the B455 Ealing Road with its junction with the A4 at certain times from 10.00am on 29th March until 10.00pm on 27th April or when the works have been completed which ever is the sooner.

Perhaps CCF might be able to enlighten us?

Again? That's the 4th time in a year
