Do we have a new Iraq on our hands with Syria

Let us hope that David Cameron will not do a Tony Blair on us,as far as Chemical Warfare is concerned.Conjecture is not enough to put us into another unnecessary war. We have already seen Syrian Rebels swear allegiance to Al-Qaeda are we to be stupid enough to fund them, we should leave well enough alone!!!

That is a very valid question however the War appears to be concentrated on Damascus,funny that? until our own TV Cameras show exactly all of what is going on in Syria by both the regime and the rebels, I would far sooner play safe then send our forces once more into an unnecessary war zone. But what if hideous war crimes really are being committed by the Assad regime?Al-Qaeda are not exactly the  kind of people I would trust, even whilst shaking hands in friendship they would be blowing us up.

"But what if hideous war crimes really are being committed by the Assad regime?"Sadly there are hideous war crimes being committed in all sorts of places, notably parts of Africa.Britain has no role as the world's policeman - that surely must be the UN. By all means we should be pulling our weight there but please, no independent action.

David Cameron must realise that with technology nowadays it would be so easy to apply Chemical substances to partial material as evidence. I can well remember Saddam Hussein's regime murdering over 5000 Kurds with Mustard Gas and yet the Politicians of the World only showed their outrage with words,why? because it was not at that time politically expedient to do anything else.Yes, there have been mobile phone scenes of "fighting"however with Al-Qaida hovering in the vicinity and allegiances being given by the rebels to the same, we should not be giving aid to them, at the end of the day they will turn their force on us.I wonder if "Oil" was not in the equation would we even be pondering the situation in both Syria and Mali?
