Come to The Edge

Some years ago when coming into Green Dragon Lane from the Kew end there was a poem on the gable end of a house. It started off " Come to the edge we might fall ,,,,Can anyone remember the rest. Plus who painted it and why?

I don't know the location that you mention, I just remember the poem and a bit of trivia in that it is an oft misquoted quote. It was written by Christopher Logue a British poet who wrote it for a poster for an exhibition commemorating the work of Guillaume Pollinaire at the ICA in London. He added the title "Pollinaire Said" to the beginning of the poem and it has since been mistakenly attributed to Pollinaire. I have no idea why it is on the side of that building.
