Greetings.  I will probably do this in a couple of postings! The maisonettes are in high demand, and rent and sell very well with steady gains over the years - no problems in their being an investment! They are sited beside Syon Lane station which in recent years has gained from the negotiated investment in travel due to Glaxo, Sky etc along the Great West Road.  The extra trains are a great improvement on the half hourly ones of yesteryear.A short bus ride, longer walk, shorter jog or bike ride ... :-)  straight along the A4 and there is Osterley Station, Piccadilly Line so again plenty of trains servicing the airport and Town.Plenty of bus routes, some of these freedom card people I know jump on the train at Syon and jump off at Kew to pick up the buses. As with most older housing stock, there is only on street car parking and the pavements have for a long time needed reinforcing and marking out to allow for the half car half pedestrian usage, but it has settled into this as more car owners live in the area. There are good schools, all walkable mostly by using Quaker Lane which runs behind Redesdale Gardens and has a footbridge over the railway line.  Marlborough did have a very successful after school club and inset/holiday club (I was a Governor there for a few years) but I don't know if it is still running.  Due to community involvement - including local Councillors, the school was rebuilt recently and is lovely, well worth a visit to see how things could be for all our children.West Mid is a short journey - we have kept them busy over the years!  and I have personal experience of the brilliant 24 hour out of hours clinic ...Osterley park and library are nearby and the canal for a walk is a short walk along the A4 where you can go left toward the locks at Hanwell and a very good pub, or right into Brentford for the Market and Sami's spice ...  ;-)Drs Surgery's include the Medical centre in Brentford.
