Blue Structure

Driving westward down the M4 yesterday and today, at a point where the overhead section comes down to ground level, I noticed what seems to be a large blue tented structure close to the waste disposal and cement centre areas in Transport Avenue. Has anybody any ideas what it is?This is a challenge for you Jim Lawes!

No doubt there will some well known music names performing..didn't Robbie Williams and others appear one year? I recall Sarah Felstead raising the subject of these blue marquees before.Here's another look from a slightly different angle.

Thanks Peter,Yes I think the Summer Staff event is on this evening...such was the activity around the area. So for Eric that's the answer!

Jim is right. It is indeed large marquees for the Sky TV summer party. I was up there yesterday. Grasshoppers RFC rent the ground to them for it every year.

Could be enormous stretch tents for Sky TV's summer party Eric. We saw them a few years back.I'll have a look this week.

JimI'm not sure you are right. This blue structure is a lot larger than a smokers room and it's not in the location you stated. I've had a look at google maps and it would seem to be in the area of Grasshoppers Rugby Ground. Suggest you take a wander down the M4 westwards and have a look yourself.

Evening Eric, I just happen to be passing by! Blimey it's 60 years since we were at School together in our teens...and haven't you done well!That blue gazebo thing is in front of a cafe/bar I recall ..along from PC World..and it enables their customers to smoke aromatic pipes to their hearts content.Well, that's what I reckon. You must come to Heston one Friday evening when you're free. We have pipes and belly dancing at the local hostelry.
