Very noisy aircraft takes off from Heathrow at 11.23 pm

Team! Please get on the case.We want name and number.Hang on ..there's another noisy one at 11.27pmWho do they think they are!

Looking at Webtrak for the original incidentsI can see23:25 BA277 763 HYD (Hyderabad)23:20 BA009 744 BKK (Bangkok)23:28      SU7585 333 SVO (Moscow)On the most northerly of the noise monitors the Bangkok 747 did hit 80dB as it crossed the Parkway ; 68 as it crossed the M4 at Heston services. However, it looked as if they were using the "No Cranford Agreement" northern runway for easterly departures and there are no proper take-off noise monitors displayed that cover this departure route - the existing ones are there to monitor easterly take-offs from the southern runway. I guess the northern runway is being used while they are doing the overnight refurbishment works to the southern runway.Unfortunately as the planning application to do the runway works to allow routine over-Cranford take-offs is now lodged with Hillingdon   https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/article/26583/Planning-application-for-the-practical-ending-of-the-Cranford-Agreementnorth Heston/Southall  might have to get used to more noise from jets overflying on the new departure routes.I wouldn't be surprised if last nights rash of departures was given exemption from the night quota because of the "exceptional dalays and hardship" caused by Friday's 787 fire and the period of airport closure.

Thanks for all the responses and the links to make a complaint.This middle of the night period was awoken with easterly departures at 2.16am , 2.25am,  and 2.30am ish. They are taking the pickle!

The night quota period only starts at 11:30pm - so things that take-off in the half-hour after 11pm, although night flights, are not restricted by the quota movement limits.Incidentally, browsing through the night flights consultation document to see the extent of the dispensations for movements to be disregarded from the count (Heathrow Summer 2012 118 flights for "delays", 11 for "government" and 26 for "emergency") I came across the paragraph"Government dispensations would also be required to facilitate the operation of any future trials which test the feasibility and acceptability of trade-offs involving additional flights in the night quota period. Such a use of dispensations would represent a departure from the existing guidelines. The Government believes this would be justified in light of the benefits that would arise from such trials, such as providing evidence on whether the anticipated outcomes are realised."I wonder if this is pre-softening up for a "trial" implementing Heathrow's proposals for having more flights landing before 6am in exchange for not using both runways for landing between 6 and 7 ?

At this time of year, it's usual to get around 15 flights departing after 11pm, although we don't usually see or hear them when they take off towards the West.Last night there were a couple more than usual and of course the easterly wind meant they were taking off towards London.

Here is the Airport's noise reporting page: http://www.heathrowairport.com/noise/help/make-an-enquiryIf aircraft noise disturbs daily (and nightly) routine, then you should complain, especially when it is louder than normal or planes are flying outside of the night curfew, or alternation pattern.  If people don't complain, Heathrow will think that aircraft noise is not an issue round here.

You can check live planes at http://www.flightradar24.com/ and you can download an app for your phone. It doesn't seem to help for past planes though but I could be wrong.

So between 11pm and midnight tonight there were 5 takes offs eastwards..and one landing eastwards too from the Cranford end.I just hope these figures are properly recorded and not fiddled..and the year's totals between 11pm and 6am fall below the agreed tolerance level.One of those departures was very noisy and the aircraft concerned should be red carded.

Those two were going over Heston and Osterley towards South Ealing perhaps.And now a third one rubbles away towards Twickenham at 11.29pm.Now a fourth ..not so noisy at 11.30pm.They're taking the pickle!
