Do you recycle at home?

My name is Eleanor and for my undergraduate dissertation I am conducting pain-free interviews with recyclers from the London Borough of Hounslow. BRAG is interesting and there also used to be CRAG which was the Chiswick one.  Unfortunately it seemed to disappear.  Their directory of where and how to recycle (well, re-use/re-purpose) things was particularly good. There is some info on it here from 2004.http://www.chiswickw4.com/default.asp?section=info&page=evcrag01.htm  Have you found out about Transition Towns now you've been to Brentford?Will look out for the bag - hope they do comfy handles! (My favourite is a WWF one - much better than advertising supermarkets!)

Thanks Sarah, I've been getting a lot of replies. I'm on the verge of not taking on any more people, as I am approaching 30 confirmed interviews. BRAG has been really welcoming and helpful to me, Kath. In fact they are planning to produce their own cotton bags so you should keep an eye out for that this Autumn, Philippa!

Eleanor - some questions for you:Why don't students and young people recycle?Is it because Mummy and Daddy did it for them at home?  Is it because they are often/usually not Council Tax payers?Is it because they don't care about the future they are just living for today?or Is it because they just can't be ***ed?
