Recycling at Tesco

It's not often, if at all, I have much sympathy for Tesco, but where recycling is concerned at least they do try, so what has some unspeakably ignorant idiot done? At the Mogden Lane store they have dumped a load of household rubbish, bits of what looks like it could have been a sofa or chair, an old child's play tent and just various cra*p where someone has obviously had a clear-out. Having taken the trouble to take this to Tesco - why not go the whole hog and go to the council dump? I just wouldn't blame these shops if they withdrew all the recycling facilities completely, we can only hope they have CCTV and can identify the vehicle reg. number and catch these anti-social fly-tippers, then prosecute them.

You would hope so - it is really anti-social - Homebase up at Syon Hill also used to be a favourite dump.

There used to be pictures of flytippers like this in the LB Ealing website.  Tesco must have CCTV.

Unfortunately there is a certain type of person who seems to think that where there is already a pile of discarded or unwanted items it is reasonable behaviour to dump more.  Where I live in Town Field Way we have a small minority of idiots resident on the estate who think it is appropriate to dump furniture, televisions, fridges and suchlike in the car park.  But that problem is then exacerbated by others, who do not live on the estate, bringing their own rubbish to add to it.I caught one individual whom I know lives in Brentford dumping an old bed in the car park right outside our home.  Aside from the sheer cheek of it, what amazed me was the fact that this moron had driven his rubbish for more than two miles from his home to offload it onto somebody else's street!Like you say, why not just drive it to the dump?In this case I appreciate we are talking about a recycling area but I am afraid there are those who will not/cannot differentiate.
