Zero Hours Contracts at LBH

Hounslow has a raft of Zero hours employees.Better known as casual labour and almost all contractors and tender holders for LBH use this system for most non management staff.If Cllr. Curran thinks this is not going on then he needs to go and work in the real world and not a cosy number in the NHS.

What Mr Curran has described is my company's policy definition of Zero hours!He also omits to state the employment methods of Hounslow contraced out services. A close look at Serco just for starters will reveal an awful lot of zero hours staffing.Just how does someone so thick get to hold portfolios on a council?There can't be much in the way of talent in the political pool.

It wasn't directed at you Vanessa (why should it be?). I recently had cause to say precisely this to a council officer of my acquaintance who for many years has spoken to me of little else but her undying love for the Labour Party, and has been well and truly kicked in the teeth.
