You have a point Adam, but I know the grief and the inordinate amount of time Rosemary and others spend trying to get some sense or just a response from Fusion, Hounslow's various departments etc. They don't have to do this - they do it because they care, and they are making a fair point that these contracts need to be monitored, these people bid for the work they should damn well do it and do it properly. You know the sheer B/S we've all experienced over the roundabout saga, and speaking personally the last week or so has driven me mad trying to deal with Hopeless Homes, various vets and animal charities, it's like you are talking to alien beings, you just get sent round in ever decreasing circles. If it wasn't for the likes of The Isleworth Society this area would be a lot less pleasant and be a lot more tatty for residents, so I for one appreciate their sterling efforts and hard (unpaid) work. It is only thanks to them and others that we still have the Isleworth Public Hall - its future is uncertain to say the least, and I think some honesty should be forthcoming from the powers that be so that we all know where exactly the hall figures in plans for Isleworth. I would have thought that some S106 money from all the proposed development locally should be sought to keep this community facility going.
