Brentford Festival's venue

My Master Atlas of Greater London does not show Blondin Park as such. So we are in need of a more precise address than Blondin Park. Northfields. A stranger in a car trying to find it by map is going to have real difficulties.

I went there for the first time a few months ago and was also surprised by its size. There are nice bits and not-so-nice bits, if I remember rightly.Hope all goes well tomorrow.

I attended Blondin Park yesterday afternoon (to help Virginia and her team mark out the "pitches" for the 100 or so stalls) and was really surprised at just how large the Park was with it's allotments, Nature Reserve. and acres and acres of grassed open space.  All in tip top condition too! The wooded section with it's bench was inviting too!Basically the Park is situated between Boston Manor and Northfields.The VEHICULAR ENTRANCE for Stall Holders and other participants is via Swyncombe Avenue at the top of Windmill Road.(just across from that T junction)The PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCES (it's all free!) is from 3 sides.WEST SIDE: from Boston Manor Road (as mentioned)via the driveway to the Allotments..into the Park..picking blackberries on the way perhaps.EAST SIDE: Walk to the bottom of either Blondin Avenue or Niagra Avenue (both cul de sacs).SOUTH SIDE: via that vehiclar access at top of Windmill Road.Its a vast and relatively unknown Park. Enjoy the day out!

Also an entrance on Boston Manor Road if you are on the E8. It backs on to Northfields train depot.

Also an entrance from Blondin Avenue, I think -- off Northfield Avenue, a little south of Northfields station, on the other side of the road.

Swyncombe Avenue, opposite Windmill Road.  A few minutes walk from the Plough pub on Northfields.
