Temporary traffic lights

Does anyone know or maybe can hazard a guess as to why the traffic lights junction with Mogden Lane and Twickenham Rd. have not been installed and we still have the temporary lights? Seems to have been a lot of work here for not a lot of an improvement as far as I can see.

I know - I went to the library and could hardly believe my eyes, traffic tailing back way past Redlees as you say, fortunately I had decided to go by bike so was able to dodge the waiting. Should be fun when the kids go back this week.

Can't help you with that one, but the lights up by Gumley House are really something else today.  Tailback this afternoon to Redlees Park and beyond, yet the carriageway from the lights at least up as far up as the hospital was completely deserted!When I cycled into the West Mid estate I looked back into the hazy distance and saw all the traffic still patiently waiting at the red light, though precious little was coming the other way.
