Brentford Lock - YOUR IDEAS & THOUGHTS PLEASE!
Having recently joined purely from the angle of market research on a new business I wish to bring to Brentford Lock, I would like to say how useful and resourceful this website is and how interesting the forum threads are.Getting to the chase, I am one of the few independents who have secured retail space at Brentford Lock , and in particular a unit with A3 (restaurant) planning permission in the Heron View retail units. I am in the process of researching the needs of not only the residents of Brentford Lock, but also residents of Brentford at large. Please do also speak up if any of you are residents of Brentford Lock itself.What I would like to understand is what you feel would work well and what you feel would not work well in that area, considering its location, what already is available in Brentford, target market and what you feel Brentford lacks that would benefit the residents at large.At present I cannot be more detailed in what I wish to bring to the Lock, purely from the angle of current lease negotiations with the Landlord, so sorry for that, but do bare in mind that my unit comes with A3 (restaurant) permission.My unit is the smaller of the 3 that come with A3 permission, excluding the public house on the corner, so I want to use the space ideally. 1500 sq ft is not overly large to put togther a new restuarant concept, considering the amount of space that will be dedicated to back of house, toilets, kitchen, prep, ofiice etc and then get enough covers in to make it viable.If you wish to ask more questions about the development, and if I can be forthcoming, I will be only too pleased.Kind regardsBob
