One hour ago: Blatant flytipping at Morrison's Recycling unit

I'm an avid recycler..and am always particularly concerned with people putting the wrong things into clearing mark bins..thus causing contamination of the whole load.Just one hour ago I witnessed a white transit type van turn up at Morrisons..and the driver caste 3 or four black sacks of items into the Plastic Packaging skip. I could tell that something odd was was going on from the shape of the items poking through.I was going to challenge him and inspect the bags...but chickened out.I noted this 60 year old white slim chap wearing plimsoles was driving a van with the signage FINE DEECORATING,and  xxxx & Lynch. After he had scarppered off, I removed two bags from the skip and immediately saw paint tins, paint brushes, newspapers etc..and left them on the ground in front of the bin so that the Authorities could inspect them  Unfortunately my mobile wasn't working for some reason..and my calls to Hounslow Council failed. So I went into Morrisons and spoke to a supervisor who said the Manager would look into it using my clues. The lady said the dumping problem there was so serious.. that inaddition to being a nightmare each morning when they arrived for work..there was a possibility of closing the Unit down..such was the mess and contimation caused by a few.(The shambles at Tescos Osterley is another sight to see sometimes)On arrival home, I was able to phone Hounslow Council's complicated automated answering service... although ideally an emergency response would have helped.I see on Google that there is indeed a "Fine Decorators" called "Thomas Lynch" at 164 Ealing Road.I will visit them this afternoon. The chap will get an earful!

What if up til recently he DID run more than one van? Did you stop to think of that before going mad? What if he employs a load of differnt people on an ad hoc basis, and at least one is insured on the van or vans. And imagine he DON'T follow them around all day in day out. Anyone who knows anthing about trade work will know its NORMAL to have occasional extra help just like I've just described.Burden of proof DOESNT rest on the accused.Only to say that the accuser has made a LOT of assumptions, jumped a lot of conclusions, his eyesight and memory of faces and his memory on its own are ALL not beyond question, and frankly, bin raiding and stalking a home property is NUTCASE behaviour.Taking it to the internet like some massive enviromental vigilante hero is just plain attention seeking, and I urge readers to question MOTIVE above all.Notice how he says '...he contaminated a Plastic Packaging Skip... and probably has been doing so for ages'.Probably been doing so for ages now?Even if this conspiracy theory is true, where did doing so for ages come from? Witch hunt anyone? Axe to grind much? Bitter about a tradesman?Guilty or not guilty, probably has no place in sorting out the truth or condeming a business. It is assumption and judgemental hopscotch.Get those photos off the house and vehicle off the internet as you've not been granted permission to use them or take them! What if it turns out that it WAS flytipped but what if the only crime was to ACCIDENTLY put recycling in the wrong bin? Ever think of that?Certianly that would be a lot different from emptying a ton of rubbish in a park. People make honest mistakes with recycling all the time, are you going to come down on all of them like a ton of bricks too?People make DISHONEST mistakes and jump to conclusions and presume guilt all the time too. cough coughIn case you haven't noticed, all the big talk about punishing people who don't recycle properly is VERY unpopular at the moment and NORMAL people are sick of busybodies finding endless reasons to boss them around and interfere in their lives and businesses. What if simply the accuser is mad or lying or by some random fluke, both? Anyone brought that option to the table yet?Have a think and mind your own business in future mate.Without proof for the time being this is just slander anyway.Honestly I've been tempted to swear here but of course in this fake, sick little internet land of imagination gossip and rumour, anyone can say anything they please, accuse anyone of anything. And true to topsy turvy logic, swearing that is normal in the real world is obscene here and obviously banned! Almost as evil as doing your recycling wrong! And one final thing, if a random bloke with a business like attitude but no obvious business to speak of, came up to your house and asked you to your face if the car outside was your ONLY car, emphaticly and repeatedly. What would you do? Offer him details of previous vehicle ownership on good faith or just say "jog on nutcase before I jog you on?"I trust readers here will all get their logbooks and paper counterparts by the front door ready for inspection. Aparently it is not normal, even guilty behaviour if you have no wish to provide your information to a total flipping stranger.
