£45K bill for us the Taxpayer

Hounslow Chronicle, this weekLabour councillor's appeal runs up £45k bill for taxpayers.The bill for Hounslow councillor's appeal into its own standards board ruling is set to run into thousands.Someone MUST be held to account for such a waste of money - Cllr Gill, Chief Executive, Head of Legal Services?

I don't think the Chief Exec or the Head of Legal Services had any say in the matter (only doing what the legal procedures require them to do) so to me it's obvious where the blame lies.It never ceases to amaze me though that Councillors like this never learn, the reputation of Heston and Cranford's Area Committee has been repeatedly dragged through the mud over the last 12 years or so due to conduct like this, especially when it is done so publicly.

None of those you have mentioned could care less about the vast sum of momey spent and why would they when the Deputy Leader Cllt Ellar defended Gill to the lastBesides its only the Hounslow residents money afterall isnt it so why should Labour care?
