Well said SALLY; must keep those southern softies in their place!Of the two codes, I much prefer to watch League, which is a tough game played by real hard men. Although I have to admit that in a tight situation in a dark alleyway on a Saturday night, I'd like to have on my side the likes of Messrs. Grewcock, Thomson and Corrie!  ;-o

Union is the elder of the two. I think League was developed for those up north who worked in the factories and couldn't attend union training/games etc, hence it is more popular in the north  - and we are made of tougher stuff than some of you southern softies so we can play a tougher version of the game ; )
