http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/news/local-news/two-groups-running-manage-public-6232491Two groups may be in the running, but the invitation to bid was deliberately and quite blatantly worded with a commercial bidder in mind.Note how the unnamed "council spokesman" is already using language which appears designed to mitigate the school bid ("not purely educational").  I wonder just how much this big pretence is costing the local taxpayer?Meanwhile in Syon ward Labour canvassers are distributing a card on which is written the immortal words "We believe local residents should come first and we will not be satisfied until Hounslow Council puts them first too".First to be dumped on, it would appear.

That seems to be a terribly worded statement - it's as if they've had nothing to do with the council! Weird........
