Ealing Bike-hub at Brentford pop-up shop

A tweet alerts me tohttp://www.londonbikehub.com/?page_id=579".....We’re now starting a pop-up shop on the high street, we’ll running Dr Bikes here as well as selling parts and accessories and providing a hub of information for all things cycling, including our cargo trike scheme under the name Brentford Bikes. There will be other cycling and non-cycling events planned – some film shows, community gatherings and lots of local food!......"

Son has been to the workshop, tested 3 bikes and bought one to use for college.  Couldn't have a brand new flashy one as it might disappear during the day.  Pre owned, sound and safe.  Perfect.  ;) x

Does anyone know of another empty shop the bike hub could use?  There seem to be lots closed up.  Maybe the Council person employed to develop the towns centres, could find them one? Do they still have somebody paid to do that job?

Alas not - for reasons I won't go into now we moved out nearly 2 years ago and the place has remained empty ever since. We're still very much in business running a lot of events in Hounslow again www.londonbikehub.com/hounslow and we're still running lots of training based in our training centre in Ealing www.londonbikehub.com/events. Plus all our extra services such as bike recycling, community workshop, cargo bikes etc etc. Still keen to move back to Brentford!

Cracking evening at Brentford Works last night - lots of local businesses and other members of the community gathered to discuss how to use the space in the retail unit. We'll repeat this in the new year and look forward to having a bigger and better networking and discussion forum.

Thanks Tim - yes we'll be open this Sunday from mid-day and make people aware we're there on Sundays. We'll also be open on Wednesday evenings from 7 till 9
