Gifted - 198 Brentford High Road

I would like to recommend this shop to those of you who haven't already found it - I drive over from Chiswick to shop there. Although on the high road it is a bit tucked away. It is full of great little gifts for all ages and nice smellies for around the house. A very useful place this time of year.And no, I am not connected with the shop other than a satisfied customer who appreciates good service.Happy shopping.

i agree totally with you that the Brentford High Street post office workers are very friendly and helpful - if only all PO workers was so enthiastic. i travel from chiswick to use it. Having said that, as the main Brentford PO its very small and the reason all counters are manned is that there is only four.  hopefully with the closing of other PO in Brentford it will soon expand.

Hi Keith,I also found this little charity shop and hope they do well as they are really hidden from the Main Shopping area. Also the Brentford PO is another treasure in Brentford, very helpful, queues move quickly and all positions staffed what a contrast to the Main Chiswick PO!

There is also a lovely little shop which you may well already be aware of, across from The Weir on the edge of the Butts. It's a charity shop in aidf head injury sufferers ,run by a couple of real nice folk.I bought a couple of really nice mirrors from there a while ago and always pop in when on the high st. They close at 3pm every day.

I love the National Trust shop at Osterley for the same reasons, but I also hope that buying from them will send the profit to a good cause.  Been to the farm shop recently Jim?
