As an ex-director of the residents association on the Island, I'm going to be biased. But, this is a well managed and maintained development. A lot of effort is put in by people who live there to ensure it looks good and has a sense of community.The build quality is overall high - with a couple of niggles (don't mention the original spec boilers!) - and the sound-proofing between flats is good.I'd think the service charges are average for what you get back. There has been good work on stopping unnecessary costs, managing the managing agent and aiming to focus investment on keeping the place looking good. I've lived there 8 years and made many great friends. I doubt you'd get that from many other developments.
