Deputy Leader

On 29 January 2014 at the General Committee (GC) meeting of Feltham & Heston Constituency Labour Party (CLP), a motion was put to the GC to censure Colin Ellar for failing to provide the newly elected CLP officer with the financial books and for withholding business information. Could this mean he will be suspended and a police investigation?

You are confusing the issues - what was referred to originally is an internal party matter - nothing whatsoever to do with Hounslow council or its finances. I don't have any time for Ellar but let's get the facts right at least. On the subject of Boris what planet does he inhabit to imagine that 'affordable' homes should be at least 80% of market rents? The man is an idiot and so out of touch with ordinary people it just isn't true.

Is Karan suggesting that Mr Colin Ellar is up to some financial mischief? Surely not! Isn't Mr Ellar at the forefront of overseeing the Council's £600,000,000 annual expenditure? How could a person with such responsibilities be in any way dodgy.Sorry.. bad call.

Interesting that Boris turned up and said the opposite to what was expected.London homes for London people.Quite the opposite that Hounslow's representative were courting. Overseas investors for overseas marketing and ofshore tax benefits.Why were they really there? Has not enough damage been done to this Town by luxury developments built purely for investors from outside?Not to mention the heavy discount marketing overseas that prevents UK and EU nationals buying via Singapore, Malaysia and so on.Not that UK housing developers and Housing Associations are an example to hold up.The whole housing issue is a scandal. Massive reforms are needed.Even Boris at long last is starting to realise enough is enough.

Ellar doesn't appear to be too worried by domestic issues just seen him on the London BBC News in the South of France! What a complete and utter waste of money, unless of course they'd like to keep him there, we couldn't be that lucky.

No, an internal party matter that the CLP Chair and E.C. will probably deal with, police investigate criminal activities not pillocks playing games.
