need washer / vacuum in or around brentford

hello,i've just recently moved to a flat in brentford, which unfortunately doesn't include a washer. does anyone know of any second-hand appliciance shops in / around brentford where i could pick one up for relatively cheap? i suppose anywhere in west london would be fine, but i've got a little ford fiesta and i worry that it'd crumble with a washer in the back. :) delivery, although not completely essential, would make me and my car's life a lot easier!i also need a vacuum (preferably used), if anyone has any suggestions.thank you!!-matt

There is a second hand shop in Hanwell just along from Grays tyres on the Uxbridge road.When you reach the top of Boston Manor road turn right onto the UB Road and it is along on the righthand side. Don't know the name of it but it has them all lined up along the front, on the pavement.

i popped in here yesterday and when i told him my budget was around £150, the gentleman behind the counter basically told me to hit the road. :)

There used to be a couple of 2nd hand shops in Hanwell,on the broadway and off Greenford Ave. There is definitely one that does wash mach. on the uxbridge rd. by Grays exhaust suppliers and car sales.Good luck :-)

Hi Matt,I have an old vacuum in my cellar collecting lots of dust that you are most welcome to (it does still work, I tried it last night!)It may tide you over till you are ready to buy one. Let me know if you want it.
