Getting your facts right

Should we be worried about anyone who thinks that the President of the USA is the president of the U.K. and his name is Barraco Barner? Seen yesterday in a newsagents window, an ad for a house exchange - "I am situated in a quiet coldy sack", sometimes words just fail me.

I obviously mistook the reason for you posting the 'Where is the Bermuda Triangle?' question posed to your son. I thought that it was somehow related to your previous remarks re the 'appalling daftness and general non awareness' of the 'haven't a bleedin' clue brigade' who are 'enough to make you weep' and who, shock horror, also 'have a vote'. Kind of stupid of me, I know.

I did know where it is but was referring to Vanessa's assertion that it was a stupid kind of question. While I knew where it was, I did not know the exact area it covered. Thanks for the map. I'm sure everybody has got the picture now!

Thanks Ian, a civilised answer. I do know about the Bermuda Triangle though - Barry Manilow sang about it! My question was more in response to the original post and I'm pretty sure that not many people (including the poster?) would be able to give such an accurate response off the top of their head.

And the Ford Dagenham Motors on Cnr Bridge Road & London Rd  which  for weeks displayed the neon sign  as Ford Twikkenham !!And the laundrette in Isleworth  proudly displaying a sign  “ Do your shoping while we do your washing”But the classic was the Ad in local press advertising a private school-bus service for residents in Chiswick & Brentford  whose children attend a prestigious  ‘Gramar’  School in Surrey.
