[Angus: What a dreadful pictorial revelation!Really dreadful.]How many of our own troops have ended up like this, seems like the nanny state thinks we should not be allowed to know, or our own news media is being leaned on or leaves a lot to be desired. Still horrific photos as indeed they are might encourage the pro war armchair warriors into the real world if only to see the real world as it really is through a photo portfolio. [So,if a so called "peace loving" Islamic regime inflicted those sort of injuries onto poor and undernourished Christian residents in another part of a Country...say SUDAN...should the world just stand aside? If those Christians were denied Schools and Hospitals...and were being starved and killed off,..should someone intervene?]Surely that would depend on the type of intervention? Crossing a sovereign nations border/s would only add fuel to the fire. Another war zone in the middle East is to be avoided at all costs, if, and I say if, anyone thinks this would be looked upon as nothing more than a border violation they would be making a very big mistake.[If you read that the UK residents were pumping £35 millions into this country to help the starving...but to no avail.. that the threatened and plighted were additionally threatened with the introduction of Shia Law..and all that means...should someone retaliate?]£35 million..... Mmmmm oil for food!!!!.....again?That all depends what you mean by retaliate, if you mean starting a full scale war just to administer justice to the jangaweed then my answer would have to be no. [Yes.. agreed.. wars are detestable...but how do you pacify and win over people you detest? Thankfully a peace deal in Sudan has been recently reached. But the Islamic behaviour has been detestable.]The peace deal in Sudan will not be worth the paper it is written on if the black Africans in the south do not have a major say in their own affairs and be allowed to reject sharia law, I will wait patiently to see if the Muslim clerics allow this to happen.
