Hello TimBelieve it or not I've only just picked up your post from April, and registered of course with 'BrentfordTW8.com'You may be interested I recently became the owner of the 'Magistrates Clock'. This was partly due to the fact that many years ago I had work very close to Brentford and got off at the station.Subsequently I though it would be interesting, like you, to not only find other John Jullion clock, but to add so social history behind the man and his work and locality. So far it has brought me in contact with the wonderful people of the Brentford FHS and the Local History section of Chiswick Library. Although it's a good start, as you can probably appreciate digging out records that go back over 250 years is a time consuming business, although in the end rewarding. But to answer your specific question, I have records of 9 turret clocks, two of which of course are the Cronulla and Magistrates Court clocks. A couple have yet to be identified as Jullion clocks, and you may or may not know that there is one in Gunnersbury Park Museum ex.?Feltham House, that was on the Brentford Gas Woks Building. The Cronulla clock came from Stanwell House. I have also come across a few people with watches, bracket clocks and even a tavern clock. There may well be many more, unfortunately as I have discovered, after the second world war old clocks were not in fashion, and were shipped out in containers. Clearly there must be more of Jullion clocks around, even given that, but it will take time to trace them.I am slowly collating my research which I guess will in the end be published by Brentford FHS, but it too early yet to formally consider that as I have only been researching Jullion for about 5 months, so it's early days yet.Do get back to me on any information you may have, and indeed what prompted your original question.RegardsDouglas How
