I feel miserable today!

Its raining. The refuse collectors of Ealing have taken our rubbish and scattered lots of it in our front drive. The world news is sooo depressing. And I lost both sets at tennis this am. And to cap it all, my dandruff refuses to abate!Would someone post something to cheer me up please. BTW, Selsun's active ingredient is selenium sulphide.  So as you can imagine it is not the nicest smelling hair product in the world; don't use it just before you are about to go out on the town ;-)Good luck.

Hi Gerry,For the general “miseries”, as well as "When you’re smiling, when you’re smiling” listen to Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.”For the dandruff……….  Pop to the chemist for a bottle of “Selsun” – it’s the only thing that really does work.  Good luck.

Well don't because no matter how crappy any of our days are, they won't be anywhere near as crappy as the days, weeks, months and years ahead of the tsunami survivors.

Do not fret, dear heart.  You mean your swimming pool of course?  You know you needn't worry, your servants are very discreet.I met one of your man servants for a chat over a cup of coffee at one of the Ealing coffee houses.  Y'now I could almost swear that it was Sally H sitting incognito at the next table?  She was madly taking notes about something, anyway.  Her coffee got quite cold.He did let slip that Elton's designer had suggested the repositioning of the heli-pad next to the Swimming pool, to give you 'designer' down-draught from the blades as you take off and land.  Its a sort of instant jacuzzi and very environmentally sound as it doesn't require any extra energy to make the waves?The IN thing to spend your money on these days I hear.[I have absolutely no intention of makng one of those forum meets you understand - I shall very definitely be in Oz...]    ;-)

Why, thank you ANN - you've cheered me up! I don't know how that Felstead girl got the notion of me and Harrods. I'm an ordinary lad really, and as I've said before, I do our shopping at Lidl's, TKmaxx and our Mr Patel's corner shop! Although, I do very occasionally find myself in Harrods food hall and if I play my cards right, I can have quite a good FREE lunch from Mohammed's mega-store by sampling the various freebie snacks they provide in that sumptuous food palace! But beware if ever you have a sortie into Harrods, 'cos they charge £1 to use their lavatories. That's a bit much for a Nelson, don't you think?  :-(

Gerry!You are one of the stalwarts of the forum - you can't be miserable!I'll bet it's that Felstead girl, getting at you re. your Harrods contacts, contracts, etc.I think we will have to start a thread similar to the Vyborn drama in December...just to cheer you up.
