Local candidate nominations

I believe that the deadline has now passed for councillor nominations for the May 22nd lccal Council elections and it will be intersting to see who is standing in each ward which will hopefully be published today

Ooops - when I typed Brentford, I meant Isleworth ward!

The Space for London Cycling website has ward maps for the whole of London to accompany the ward "asks".Syon is athttp://action.space4cycling.org/data/ward/1093and Brentford is athttp://action.space4cycling.org/data/ward/1088The website candidate lists (Click on "More candidate and location info") are a bit lacking at the moment - Isleworth only has Sheena Bourke as the Liberal Democrat currently !

Syon is North Isleworth and West Brentford basically, but includes the Brentford town centre.

I didn't know that i thought they were in the Tw7 Boundary..Weird that mind u the flat i lived in on London Rd had the address Isleworth Tw7 but came under Syon..So is Syon part of Isleworth?

An anorak's observation:  of the 12 nominations for Syon Ward... only 2 seem to reside within the Ward  (The Greens and Ukip). Is that so?

Might just be me, but I was a bit confused by the nominations that said "The Community (London Borough of Hounslow)" - is that what ICG are called now?

Not sure if your comment was sarcasm or not Kath but all I did was check the Hounslow Council website and the official nominations had been publishedI was not having a dig at anyone
