H91 Bus protest

Why were residents protesting about the H91 bus in GWQ yesterday?

Didn't the extension to the 235 service come as a result of part of the S106 contributions on the GWQ development ?.Presumably TfL said the 65 service didn't need any improvements, nor the H91, so that only left the 235 for the money to be spent on.  How many people from GWQ travel to Sunbury on the 235 is another matter entirely !.

Every Brentford bus stop seemed to carry details of the 235 change and consultation.  Shouldn't concerns and protests been raised before the change took place?  Perhaps they were but not in great enough numbers?

I've got nothing to say about the 235 either way but I can honestly say that while waiting for the 65 (regularly around 10.00a.m. on a Monday and 12.30p.m. on a Friday)at the New Road stop, I see 235s arriving and leaving and there is barely a soul on them.

We can look forward to this congestion on Kew Bridge getting worse once the Lionel Road development starts!

Would be a lot better if the 235 ran to Bond Street, Ealing like some 65s do during rush hours to relieve the serious overcrowding on the 65.Whenever the congestion in Kew Bridge and Richmond gets too bad, which is quite regular, many 65 journey get curtailed to Brentford County Court.

Mind boggles, what's not to like about the bus terminating at the development? Perhaps the drivers are keeping the engines running whilst parked at the stand, or blocking parking? Love to know more....Disclaimer, 235 is the lazy option home for me from the High St.......
