MOT & car service recommendations please

I have recently moved to Brentford and my car (a 10 year old Toyota Avensis) needs a new MOT and a service.  Can anyone recommend a reliable and not too expensive garage in the area?  Kwik Fit are doing a deal at the moment, but while I think they are fine for tyres and exhausts I'm not sure I trust them to carry out a service.

We'll lucky you Diane.  My experience was dangerous, illegal and involved the MOT.  As I said from my experience NO!

I would also recommend Rams Westgate on Great West Road. Have used them for some years and have always found the service to be honest, reliable and reasonably priced.
