Tesco still sell disgusting dvd..

On may 1st a report in the daily mail online reported that tesco removed a dvd from its shelves because of the vile nature inthe film. Last week my daughter bought some dvds from tesco twickenham and to my shock 1 of the films was this film they were supposed to have moved from shelves. The film is called "the hospital" and is full of rape, murder and sexual nature which is vile and tasteless. I watched the movie and me being a horror fan found this film totally vile. Does Tesco really need the money that bad to get money from such a nasty sick film?

Unless someone from Tesco's staff was forcing her to buy this then I can't see what the problem is if she was over 18. Don't people read the blurb on the back about the film's content? Adults must be able to make their own decisions about what they want to watch.

Crikey, that sounds awful, especially for the poor policeman, though I realise he is an actor. I looked at the reviews on Amazon and they gave me a fair idea of what to expect and that I probably wouldn't enjoy watching it.Also, the price. £10-15 for such rubbish seems extortionate.I am curious to know what brand of power drill was used and how heavy duty; i.e. was it a simple DIY Black and Decker or a fully blown Kangol road breaker but guess at the price I don't care.

Chris my daughter is 22, I was making an observation that tesco said thry removed it over complaints.  I agree its an 18 film but when u see a woman being rapped manytimes by the same man threw out the film and a scende where 2 men who hold a police officer captive, place a large sex toy onto a power drill and insert it into where the sun dont shine till it rips him apart k feel more caution should be given.

and to be fair it is rated 18 and the cover leaves potential purchasers under no illusions about what they are buying. If, however, your daughter is under 18 then that is a totally different ball game.

Cue the stampede of TW8 readers to buy the DVD from Tesco ;-)Personally I've no problem with Tesco (or anywhere else) stocking such films.  Many films and TV shows (horror or otherwise) contains elements which are vile, tasteless, lacking in morality etc.  Banning them from being sold in shops won't make any difference to the one off lunatic who supposedly goes on some kind of rampage (as the likes of the Daily Mail would have us believe) after watching such things.I'm far too perturbed about the state of society when I think how not only are shows like Big Brother or TOWIE produced but they are actually very popular with viewers and make 'celebrities' of complete idiots.
