Silverhall Park Isleworth on 267 bus route

What a lovely park and what a success!Looks like money well spent here, and isn’t it nice to see our money being well spent! When I was photographing the roundabout fiasco I made a note to come back and check out the park so today I popped in.Does anyone know the history of the park, and its name?Is there a Councillor who should have 'their' name on a plaque for posterity ... I couldn't see one, but there is still time to run up a tempoary banner.

It's most unlike Jim Linwood (a fine local photographer) to re-act and post in that way Vanessa...but it shows us just how narked some people are about the seeming posturing of Cllr Sampson (Labour Party) on the new "unveiled" Memorial Stone. Anyway, the informative and cherished Isleworth Society website is well worth studying and this apt picture of theirs is not to be missed.

This is such a serious issue Vanessa that I should just go with the flow ... and the river flowing through the park is lovely too.  I will pop back some time to get a few photographs from the wild areas and look out for the Ice house.

None of you may like what has happened - I'm not particularly impressed myself, but the nasty sniping from a couple of people is just plain nasty and unnecessary.

They did a lovely job in St Paul's Rec. a few years back.Sadly, two of the kids rides have been removed and not replaced and it looks run down already.A shame really, but not helped by people not treating facilities with respect and taking them for granted.Needs a Blakey like Park Keeper.

Funnily enough I walked past the park the other month and don't think I've ever seen so many squirrels in one place :-)

The park is laid out in several areas of nature/river (Duke of Northumberland’s river, I take it!) and the play park … with a balanced snap shut gate (good people of St Pauls park take note!)Plenty of ‘adult people’ seating
