AdamI am sure that the polling cards contained the correct information but human nature being such as it is, some people lose their polling cards or don't bring them with them when they go to vote. A lot of the peiople voting this morning were quite elderly and I am sure that some of them didn't want to walk the longer distance to the Rose Centre.I was told about this from a lady (who is originally from Afghanistan) who went to the Mission Church on Beech Avenue first, realised her mistake and then came over to the Rose Community Centre. However she told me that other people gave up and went home. It is interesting that it took someone who originally came from Afghanistan to point this out !In generally, I think that Polling Stations need to be better advertised by signs erected several days before the elections so that people are more aware where they are.
